Your Guide to the Choice of Camelbak Water Bottles

With many of us trying for a greener life, it is getting more common to carry a reusable water bottle rather than using disposable bottles. The Camelbak drink bottle is considered one of the best on the market, but you may not be aware of the vast choice of Camelbak water bottles on the market. So, here we’ll explore your choice of Camelbak bottles, so you can choose the perfect one for you.

Plastic Camelbak Bottles

Plastic Camelback water bottles are a low priced, lightweight option that can ensure that you stay hydrated throughout your day. These bottles are designed to be resilient and safe for the environment, making them an excellent option for exploring the outdoors. You don’t need to worry about weighing down your pack, as this lightweight option will leave plenty of room for your other equipment. Some models include innovative features such as cap stowage, a smooth drink interface or insulation.
Plastic Camelbak bottles are dishwasher safe, have double walled insulation to keep your drink cool and are 100% free of BPF, BPS, and BPA.

Sport Bottles

Whether you’re hitting the trail, playing sports or running, one of the most critical considerations is staying hydrated while you’re exerting your body. Camelbak sports bottles help to deliver hydration while you’re on the go; blasting water with just a simple squeeze. There is no need to worry about straws or caps, as the easy to squeeze design helps to deliver the right flow to ensure that your thirst is quenched. The innovative Jet Valve is self sealing and eliminates spills and splatters. Additionally, the TruTaste polypropylene allows you to taste your drink rather than a plastic, bottle taste.

Stainless Steel Options

There is nothing worse than taking a big gulp of your favourite drink and finding it tastes funny. The Camelbak stainless steel bottle range helps with flavour retention, to eliminate aftertastes. These bottles are designed with double wall insulation to protect your drink from the outdoor elements; keeping your cold drinks cool or your hot drinks warm. This makes this type of bottle ideal for camping adventures as the vacuum insulation keeps drinks cold for up to 48 hours.

Glass Bottles

Another alternative to stainless steel or plastic is glass. Over the past decade, glass bottles have seen an increase in popularity. Glass is a simple storage option for your hydration needs at home or on the go. Camelbak glass bottles are stylish and have a colourful, protective silicone sleeve. Additionally, you can see the liquid, so you can jazz up your water with slices of lemon or cucumber to refresh you and keep your cool. The glass Camelbak bottles are dishwasher safe with a redesigned flip, bite and sip cap for enhanced durability and faster flow.

4 Benefits You Can Enjoy with a Ceramic Water Dispenser

When many people consider a ceramic water cooler they envisage a freestanding unit that can be seen in many working environments. However, if you don’t have space or an available outlet for this type of water dispenser all is not lost. There are many types of ceramic water coolers available to hire or buy, and there will be one to suit your needs. Any homeowner or business owner can now enjoy spring water without the hassle of ordering and storing large quantities of bottled spring water. In this article, we will examine four benefits that you can enjoy if you choose a ceramic water cooler.
  1. Naturally Cool Water
Ceramic water dispensers are a great way to get cool fresh tasting drinking water without filling your fridge to the brim with bottled water. The best ceramic dispensers will keep your spring water at the ideal below room temperature for drinking all day long. These ceramic units will keep your water cool naturally; they require no power outlet to run them, and this will help you to save extra money on your electricity bills.
  1. A Portable Choice
As we’ve seen, a ceramic water cooler doesn’t require any power, so it’s a very flexible choice for moving to different locations. There is no need to lug multiple bottles of water with you, and you can be set up in a few minutes. All you need to do is take your cooler, and a refill of spring water along with you and you can have fresh drinking water for camping or any other remote activity.
  1. Saving Valuable Space
Let’s face it, floor space is limited in many homes, and you pay rent by the square metre at work. Spring water tastes great, but bottled varieties can take up a great deal of room in your fridge and elsewhere. A freestanding water cooler also takes up significant floor space and the spare water bottles need to be stored as well. Even a small benchtop model may be too large for smaller homes and businesses to accommodate easily. A ceramic cooler is ideal for sitting in an office waiting room or on a typical kitchen bench. This will give you easy access to delicious naturally cooled water without taking up all of your space.
  1. Aesthetic Appeal
This may seem like a trivial benefit for some people, but a ceramic water cooler is a simple and elegant way to deliver delicious water. If you’ve invested a lot of money in creating a beautiful kitchen or office environment for your family, visitors, and employees that design can be seriously marred by an ugly water dispenser. The best modern ceramic water coolers are very well designed, and they don’t have a lot of wires and extraneous water bottles to break up the simple lines.

Enjoy Significant Health Benefits by Drinking Natural Spring Water

When many people think about drinking spring water, they concentrate on the taste and convenience. While these are critical aspects to drinking bottled water; Perth residents may also like to know that there are significant health benefits that can also be enjoyed. Let’s take a closer look at spring water and how it could help you to stay healthy.

A Naturally Alkaline Choice

At Aussie Natural Spring Water, Perth residents may be surprised to learn that our natural spring water is locally sourced and it tastes delicious. Spring water is naturally alkaline, it’s sourced from aquifers located deep underground, and it’s collected at the source, treated at our premises, bottles and then delivered to your home or business for your convenience. The spring water is not altered in any way, there are no additives, and this gives the drinker a purer water drinking experience. In certain cases, the spring water may have been located for a very long time, there is no pollution in a deep aquifer, and this water is untouched by modern civilisation. When the water passes through the rock, it undergoes extensive filtration, and the beneficial mineral content is significantly enhanced. This makes natural spring water a fantastic choice for people seeking to maintain a healthier lifestyle.

The Beneficial Mineral Content

As a drink, spring water stands out from the competition by its purity and by the mineral composition. These minerals and other trace elements are naturally added to the water as it passes around and through the rock underground. There are four main beneficial minerals commonly found in natural spring water, they are calcium, potassium, sodium, and magnesium. These minerals are found in spring water in just the right concentrations to keep a human body fit and healthy. Many studies have found that drinking water that contains the correct amounts of these minerals can help to prevent a wide variety of health issues. So, when you choose to drink natural locally sourced spring water, you can really help to boost your health and immune system.

The Health Benefits of Natural Spring Water

Many experts believe the naturally sourced spring water is the best type of drinking water available for consumption. Natural spring water is extremely pure, it’s a naturally occurring drinking water free from pollutions, and it contains many essential minerals in the right level of concentration for the body. There are four main health benefits that anyone can enjoy when they make a switch to drinking spring water.
  • The water is naturally alkaline in nature, and acidic water can be harmful to human health and promote disease.
  • A natural spring water will be free from toxins, and it has plenty of good mineral content for a person of any age.
  • When people drink spring water, they often notice that it tastes refreshing. Any beverages that are made with spring water will have a cleaner and more accurate taste.
  • This is drinking water as nature always intended it to be.

How to Clean Your Camelbak Water Bottles

Camelbak bottles have become very popular with athletes, gym bunnies and even those who have no interest in fitness. Camelbak water bottles not only allow you to lead a greener life, as you don’t need to contribute to the massive single-use plastic bottle waste, but they are designed to be rugged, so they can cope with the rigours and challenges of life. However, it is essential to keep your Camelbak drink bottle clean and sanitised, so here we’ll provide you with the best way to keep your bottle fresh.

Regular Washing

The most important aspect of keeping Camelbak water bottles clean is regular washing. Fortunately, Camelbak bottles can be washed by hand or in your dishwasher. Ideally, you should wash your bottle after every use, but providing it is washed each day, you’re unlikely to run into problems. Obviously, if you’re suffering from a cold or flu, you’ll need to make sure that your bottle is washed more frequently to avoid spreading germs. Your Camelbak drink bottle should never get to the stage where your water tastes funny or has an odd smell with regular washing. So if you have started to notice a mild odor or taste, it is more than time that you gave it a good wash.

Cleaning Your Bottle

Cleaning your Camelbak bottle is relatively straightforward. Each bottle is simple to wash out, just be sure to rinse out any detergent, particularly if you’ve washed the bottle by hand. If you fail to do this, you’ll end up with soapy tasting, unpleasant water, which is not something anyone enjoys.

Chute Plastic Bottles

If you have a Camelbak Chute model, it is a little more complicated to ensure that it is properly washed, but the process shouldn’t be too daunting. Any Camelbak bottle with a Big Bite valve such as a Groove or Eddy can be cleaned with the following steps.
Pull the bite valve and straw off the cap. Once these components have been separated, you can either clean them in the top rack of your dishwasher or use warm, soapy water to wash by hand. Some people prefer to use a bottle brush, just be sure not to force it through the slit in the bite valve as you
risk tearing the silicone.

If your bite valve or straw is in need of a deeper clean, you can add a tablespoon of bleach or drop of mild soap into a clean glass jar that is filled with water. Drop your straw, cap and bite valve into the solution and close the lid of the jar. Shake the jar for approximately 30 seconds and then allow the jar to sit for about 15 minutes. Once the parts have finished soaking, rinse and shake dry.

Once your bottle is washed and dried, you’ll need to flip the stem collar to the open position and orient the bite valve so that the finger tap is pointing towards the front of the cap. Push your bit valve on to the stem collar firmly and press the straw into place at the bottom of the lid. Check your straw is completely covering the notches, and you’re good to go.

5 Sure Signs That You're Not Drinking Enough from Water Coolers

Water coolers are a great way to get access to cooled water on demand, and they have become increasingly popular. Now we are seeing water coolers for home and business use to keep people hydrated. We all need to access to clean and fresh water to stay healthy, and it’s easy to become dehydrated. In this article, we will look at five signs that you need to drink more water.

  1. Feeling Mentally Sluggish

Many studies have shown that dehydration can have a major effect on our ability to concentrate and our general mood. A feeling of mental fog in the afternoon is a common phenomenon in any workplace, and many people attempt to compensate with a caffeinated beverage. This is at best a temporary fix and the lack of concentrate will usually return quickly. The best way to deal with this is to drink water rather than coffee; this will give you a boost that can get you through to the end of the working day.

  1. Hunger Pangs

Many of us snack between meals because we feel hungry, but this may be a false feeling, and we may not be hungry at all. When we become dehydrated, our hypothalamus can become confused, and our feelings of hunger may be thirst. The best way to check if you’re really hungry is to drink a glass of water and wait 30 minutes. If you’re still hungry, the feeling is genuine, and you may need to eat something. Many people find that drinking a glass of water makes their hunger pangs stop and this can be very helpful if you’re following a strict diet.

  1. Muscular Cramps

If you have painful muscular cramps, this could indicate that you’re dehydrated. Many painful muscle pains are caused by a lack of water, so before you reach for some painkillers try to drink some water first. If you drink a glass of water, you may notice that the pain goes away and you don’t need to resort to drugs.

  1. Feeling Fatigued

According to many doctors dehydration is a common cause of feelings of fatigue. In fact, around 10% of cases where intense feeling of fatigue and tiredness are a problem, dehydration could be the root cause. Drinking coffee may give the drinker a short boost, but the subsequent crash is usually not worth it. It’s a better idea to swap out the coffee for a glass of water and see if that makes a drastic difference.

  1. Dark Coloured Urine

When you pass water, your urine should be a transparent yellow or perhaps a pale straw colour. If you notice that your urine is a darker shade of yellow this is a good indicator that you’re dehydrated. This can be quickly corrected by drinking more water over time, try drinking a glass of water every hour and checking again later.

4 Signs That You Need to Use Water Coolers to Stay Healthy

In many parts of Australia, we are now experiencing a record breaking heat wave that quickly dehydrates anyone that isn’t drinking enough fluids. Our primary source of hydration should be good quality water that will meet all of our needs. When the temperatures are so hot, it will be necessary to drink more to compensate for loss of fluids due to perspiration. Of course, when you’re using water coolers for home use, you can drink indoors where it’s cooler anytime you like. However, when you’re on the go, it can be hard to scientifically measure your water intake, and so it becomes essential to explore other methods. It’s vitally important that people start to listen to their bodies more and look out for these four signs that they are not drinking enough from water coolers to stay healthy.

A Darker Coloured Urine
This is a common sign to look out for, the urine produced may be a darker shade of yellow compared to the usual transparent yellow from a well hydrated person. This is a sure sign of dehydration, and it’s imperative to drink some water as soon as possible. Remember, if you get to this stage you are already dehydrated, and some of your bodies functionality may already be impaired. This will quickly return to normal if you drink some delicious spring water from Aussie Natural.

Cramps in Your Muscles
It’s extremely common for dehydrated people to experience uncomfortable or even painful muscle cramping. This can be irritating when you’re out and about working or getting some errands done. A painkiller is a simple fix, but there is no need to take one in many cases if you simply get hydrated. Before you resort to a pharmaceutical solution, try and drink some water and rest for a short while to allow your body to adjust. You may find that the muscle cramps go away quite quickly just by drinking some good quality water.

Feelings of Tiredness and General Fatigue
This can be hard to quantify in any meaningful way as there are many factors that could make us feel tired during a normal day. Many people become fatigued later in the afternoon and the attention and focus that we can bring to bear is limited. Medical experts estimate that around 10% of people suffering from tiredness and general feelings of fatigue are actually dehydrated. So, instead of reaching for a coffee to get rid of that mid afternoon funk, try drinking a glass of water or a herbal tea instead.

Feeling Hungry
Many of us feel a need for a mid morning or afternoon snack, and this can be a difficult time for people who are watching their weight. However, when we are dehydrated our hypothalamus can easily confuse those feelings for hunger. So, when we are craving food, we may actually be dehydrated instead, and we need a drink of water.

5 Benefits of Your Own Watercooler in Winter

Many people now have a water cooler in their homes as well as their place of business. This has been a developing trend over the last few years, and people enjoy the convenience of quick and easy hydration. This is an easy decision to make during the hotter summer months, but it may come as a surprise to learn that it’s also a useful addition to your home in winter. In this article, we will look at five benefits that you can enjoy if you have access to water coolers in winter.

It Simply Tastes Better

A watercooler supplied by Aussie Natural uses water that is sourced from local springs that is delicious. This makes it great to drink on its own, but it also makes other drinks and even food taste better too. Making cold drinks is simplicity, and if food is cooked in cleaner water, the true flavours will shine through.

Spring Water is Better for Your Health

Spring water is great for your health too. There is no harmful bacteria or contaminants there to spoil your hydration experience. If you’re used to that “swimming pool” type odour that you get with chlorinated water be prepared for a far better drinking experience.

The Importance of Drinking Water

It’s vitally important to drink plenty of water, and this is pretty easy advice to follow in summer when it’s hot. However, during winter many people slow down a little, and it can be hard to remember that you still need to drink. If you have a watercooler supplying tasty water on demand, you’re far more likely to drink more often. This will ensure that you stay hydrated throughout the colder months and enjoy all the health benefits from that activity.

Saving Money

There is plenty of bottled water available on the market right now, and some of them can be very expensive. The cost of having a water cooler at home is competitive in comparison, and you will find yourself buying less water outside the home. If you need to drink on the go, we have Camelbak water bottles available. Simply fill them at home from your cooler and then take them out with you. Over time you will notice that this will save you a lot of money and your water drinking experience will be enhanced at the same time.

Saving Space

If you have water bottles at home, you will understand how much space they take up. There will be full and partially full bottles in the refrigerator and packs of bottles in the garage or other storage area. Bottled water takes up a lot of space, and they have to be moved around to where you need them. With an Aussie Natural water cooler this isn’t necessary, when you need a new bottle, just call, and we will deliver it direct to your door.

If they are looking for a water cooler Perth based residents should contact Aussie Natural. We stock a wide selection of water and water related customers, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
